Offices
Maintain office addresses, time zones, and additional fields used by reporting and scheduling.
Where to find it
Open Account > Offices.
Address: /account/sources/offices.
Edit the office grid
Office records are edited inline. Use the pencil for the intended cell, change its value, and press Enter or leave the cell to commit; Escape cancels. The saved cell is the persistence boundary; there is no separate whole-record save step for every edit. Wait for the saved result or error before changing another field.
Add and maintain an office
Use New office to start a temporary creation row. Enter Office ID and the required fields, review Office name, Office address, timezone/location information, Status, and Test office, then choose Create office. The temporary row is not saved by editing a single cell; Cancel abandons it. Use the address-resolve action when needed and verify the resolved location before relying on scheduling or reporting. Setting Retired differs from deleting the office's history.
Additional fields
Add column creates an additional office field through its form. Review the field definition and use it consistently; adding a field is different from filling one office's value. These are Topline office fields, not authority to alter an externally owned CRM schema.
Recovery
Cancel an unintended cell edit with Escape. If resolving or saving fails, inspect the reported field error and verify the stored value before retrying. Clear filters before creating a duplicate office. A saved address is not proof that all downstream calculations refreshed.
