Task Monitor

Follow active tasks, answer questions, inspect verification, and recover work.

Where to find it

Open Account > Task Monitor, then choose a task when you need its details.

Address: /account/task-monitor, /account/task-monitor/:runId. Open the saved resource from the product rather than typing this address.

Find a task or run

Use Active, Needs attention, and History to find work. A Coding agent task is delegated work with its plan and lifecycle; a Run is an execution record. Read the kind and state before using its actions.

Choose View details to open the list's detail drawer. Open full details opens the full run-detail page when offered. Use the owning conversation for context and follow-up; knowing an ID does not transfer task control.

Review plans and results

For an eligible run awaiting approval, review its plan and choose Approve plan only for that displayed scope. Coding agent tasks use their own questions and approval cards. Inspect execution, verification, changed files, and remaining risks before accepting completion. A completed task is not proof of merge, deployment, live publication, or customer rollout.

Cancel, dismiss, or retry

  • In the list, Cancel changes to Confirm cancel for a short three-second confirmation window. Confirm the intended task.
  • The full run-detail page's Cancel acts immediately; do not expect the same two-click sequence there.
  • For eligible failed or escalated tasks, Dismiss followed by Confirm dismiss clears the attention item. Dismissal is not a repair or rollback.
  • Retry creates and selects a new resumed task with a new ID. Inspect that new task instead of treating the old failed ID as the retry result.

Recovery

If work is missing, check the tenant, kind/filter, and owning conversation. Answer a question or approval on the existing task instead of starting a duplicate. Correct a credential, setup, or usage-limit blocker before retrying. Preserve verification and error evidence for the exact task/run being reviewed.
