# Trusted Calculations

Draft business calculations, validate their logic, publish definitions, and retire obsolete versions.

## Where to find it

Open **Account > Trusted Calculations**.

Address: `/account/trusted-calculations`.

## Create and find a calculation

Open **Account > Trusted Calculations**. Expand **New calculation**, enter **Title** and **Intent**, and create a draft. Use **Search** and **Status** to find **Published**, **Drafts**, **Retired**, **Superseded**, or **All versions**, then select the intended version.

## Review and revise the draft

In **Guide**, review **Title**, **Intent**, **Business definition**, and **Plain-English steps**. Eligible users can also inspect **SQL** and **Params schema**; raw SQL may be hidden for your access profile. Save changes before **Preview**, which checks the saved draft and returns a bounded result.

Use **Conversation** to enter a **Revision request** and choose **Send revision**. Read the builder response and return to Guide to check the resulting definition. When a preview fails, use **Try check again** after correcting the cause or **Revise with Builder** to request a correction. A saved draft is not a validated definition.

## Publish and manage versions

Choose **Publish** only after reviewing the definition and preview. Publication changes future default usage to the new version; explicitly pinned consumers continue using their pinned version. **Version history** lets you inspect an older version. Create a next version to change a published definition rather than assuming edits rewrite every consumer.

For an eligible published or superseded version, enter a **Retirement reason** and use its retirement action. Retirement preserves history. Review which apps or reports depend on the definition before changing its lifecycle.
