# Resources

Inspect database and cache capacity and follow capacity requests.

## Where to find it

Open **Account > Resources**.

Address: `/account/resources`.

## Review current capacity

Resources shows the existing PostgreSQL database and application-cache capacity and request history. The page accepts **increases** to those existing resources, not arbitrary new resource types. A new resource type needs a separate design review.

## Request an increase

Requests open only after the application is ready. If **Requests open after launch** appears, review preparation status rather than trying another request path. An active request takes the place of the new-request form; follow that request instead of duplicating it.

1. In **Request more capacity**, review **Database tier**, **Application cache tier**, **Database storage (GiB)**, **Maximum database storage (GiB)**, and **Enable high availability across availability zones**. Choose an increase supported by the offered options; these are requests for the existing resources.
2. Explain **What are you building, or what has slowed down?** using 20–2,000 characters.
3. Choose **Urgency** and **Timing preference**.
4. Review the requested values, then choose **Submit resource request**.
5. Follow the saved request's status/history and refresh it when needed.

Submission creates a reviewable request; it does not immediately change infrastructure. If a load or submission fails, preserve the request details, retry after correcting the error, and check whether the request was saved before submitting another.
